Registrar at Örebro District Court
Örebro District Court is a general court and one of the larger district courts in the country, covering the entire Örebro County. Örebro District Court is also a national special court for the conversion of life sentences. The court has about 80 employees, who work in centrally located premises. The court handles criminal cases, civil cases, matters, and bankruptcies.
Örebro District Court is an open and modern workplace with engaged employees. Employees collaborate with each other across professional roles and organizational units, and we value that everyone is involved in the entire operation.
As a registrar with us, you will become a central part of the court's administrative flow. Your main tasks include:
- Registration, record-keeping, and dispatching of documents
- Mail handling and document control
- Archiving work, including the release of public documents and organizing and cataloging (including disposal)
- Support to colleagues and the public regarding document management
About you
As a person, you are secure, service-oriented, and have good integrity. You take responsibility for your tasks, ensure that deadlines are met, and easily adapt to new routines. You have an interest in order and systematics and appreciate work where quality is central.
To be considered for employment, you must meet high standards regarding judgment, security awareness, and suitability. This means that you uphold democratic values and the governmental values that guide the operations of Swedish Courts. We require that you comply with applicable laws.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a high school education, preferably supplemented with post-secondary education in document and information management or equivalent
- Has good digital skills and easily learns new systems
- Communicates well in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Is meticulous, structured, and enjoys working both independently and in a team
Meritorious:
- Experience from public sector work
- Experience in registration, record-keeping, or archiving
- Knowledge of the court system or law enforcement authorities
- Experience working according to the principle of public access
